WELCOME TO THE WYOMISSING AREA JUNIOR SENIOR HIGH SCHOOL
Wyomissing Area Junior/Senior High School continues to be an academically rigorous and competitive high school on local, state and national levels. Wyomissing Area High School receives annual recognition from national ranking systems such as the U.S. News World Report, The Washington Post, Niche.com, and Newsweek’s Daily Beast America’s Top High Schools.
Wyomissing Area Jr/Sr High School provides an extremely rigorous curriculum for its 965 students. There are 33 designated honors courses in eight disciplines, and 21 Advanced Placement (AP) courses. Wyomissing Area Jr/Sr High School is proud of its achievements in its 26 varsity athletic programs and 43 extracurricular clubs. Our athletic teams are traditionally some of the best in Berks County and, often, in the state, citing a 2017 ranking from Nice.com where Wyomissing Area High School was ranked top three athletic programs in Pennsylvania.
On a co-curricular level, many of our clubs reach the state or national level. Our Model UN, school artists, and the Math Club successfully compete on the state and national levels. The Wyomissing Area choral and band programs travel to competitions throughout the United States to assure our musical students of the highest level of play. Wyomissing Area Jr/Sr High School offers a very competitive and rigorous education while maintaining a balance of extracurricular and service activities to educate the whole student.
