Graduation Requirements

Beginning in ninth grade, Wyomissing Area School District students are required to complete the graduation requirements set by the district and outlined in the Program of Studies. Additionally, all Pennsylvania public school students must fulfill the requirements of Act 158. Listed below are the details of both sets of requirements.

GRADUATION REQUIREMENTS
- Graduation requirements are for subjects taken in grades 9, 10, 11, and 12. Wyomissing Area Jr./Sr. High students need 23 total credits to graduate. Courses taken in seventh and eighth grade do not accrue credit toward graduation. Beginning with the class of 2023, students must also take and pass end of course Keystone Exams in Biology, Algebra 1, and English Literature to fulfill their graduation requirements.
